Project: Climate Ready -Sea Level Adaptation Planning for the East San Francisco Bay

Description: Grant to the East Bay Dischargers Authority (EBDA) to identify feasible decentralized wastewater infrastructure and shoreline improvements and design options that can address projected sea level rise impacts, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase carbon sequestration by enhancing wetlands along the San Francisco Bay. EBDA will develop and vet wastewater project plans that best integrate multi-objective adaptation strategies. It will identify next steps in allowing EBDA and other agencies to make informed decisions that incorporate shoreline resilience benefits into major infrastructure projects.
