Project: Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority: Prado Basin Sediment Management Demonstration Project

Description: Perform a demonstration project that restores sediment transport through Prado Basin by dredging and transporting 300 acre-feet to a temporary holding area. Sediment will be re-entrained in Santa Ana River flows during periods of high stormflow and re-distributed in the lower river by natural sediment transport processes.
