Emergency project - Provide bottled water
The water system has one groundwater well (Well No. 2), one hydropneumatic tank, and a distribution system. According to the water quality data submitted to State, Well No. 2 is currently extracting groundwater that has an arsenic concentration in excess of the arsenic Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL). On January 21, 2009, State?s Valley District Office issued Compliance Order No. 01-21-09(O)51007 to Supplier for violating the arsenic primary drinking water standard.

The Project is to provide bottled water to students, faculty, and staff for thirty six (36) months or until Supplier returns to compliance with the arsenic MCL.
