Project: Cuyama Community Services District Arsenic exceedence remediation project

Description: The proposed construction project has been designed to correct water storage deficiencies and resulting operational impacts to the existing arsenic water treatment plant. The project will allow the plant, longer, more efficient run times, thereby reducing the frequency and volume of backwash water and eliminating the environmental impacts from the excess volume of backwash water and liquid sludge that currently exceed the capacity of the sludge drying beds.
